Captain Job Clements was a large landowner in New
Hampshire, owning property in Dover, Rochester, Canterbury
and Madbury. He was made Captain of the Dover Company, and
served against the Indians and French. In 1721, he was
constable in Dover (Clement Ancestors and Dec, pp. 89-92).
